About Marina

Marina is an artist and illustrator based in the Western suburbs of Paris.

Born in London to a multi-cultural family with journalist parents, she spent time living in Oman and Kenya as a child. She also travelled often to India, where her Parsi grandparents lived.

Marina loves to work with bright colours and bold lines, focusing mainly on hand drawing, watercolour painting and screen printing.

She enjoys capturing everyday scenes, whether it be the bustle of urban life or the tranquillity of nature. Recently she has been creating works focusing on one of her other passions - swimming.

Marina studied art at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London, before completing a degree in Modern Languages at the University of Cambridge where she specialised in literature, visual culture and cinema.
